Furthermore, we utilize a premium cast aluminum body to ensure the instrument maintains its structural integrity and remains lightweight at just 2.5 kg. Specifically, our engineering team focuses on achieving a perfectly balanced 300 g plunger assembly to guarantee that every test delivers consistent and dependable results. Consequently, using this specialized hardware ensures your laboratory can confidently evaluate cement paste workability and setting behavior.

Advanced Engineering for Setting Time

This professional cement setting time testing equipment is critical for supporting high-quality performance in quality control labs, research centers, and construction materials testing facilities. In the past, laboratories often struggled with poorly aligned frames that introduced frictional resistance and altered penetration values. However, we have developed this refined version with a smooth sliding rod to ensure friction-free movement and a steady descent control. Specifically, the precision graduated indicator scale allows for a clear, uniform reading of the penetration depth. As a result, you can achieve flawless initial and final setting time calculations without operator variance.

Consistency in the Vicat Set Apparatus

Because accurate setting time evaluation requires uniform mass and compliance, we verify the dimensions of 140x190x290 mm for every Vicat Set Apparatus we produce. Additionally, this machine strictly aligns with the rigid requirements of ASTM C191, EN 196-3, and EN 480-2. Therefore, our customers receive a tool that helps them maintain the high standards required for official material certification. Moreover, this commitment to quality control ensures that the frame, standardized needles ranging from 1 mm to 2 mm, and lock-nut mechanisms remain reliable throughout thousands of high-intensity use cycles.

Efficient Workflow and Structural Integrity

We utilize a specialized manufacturing process for this consistency system to ensure it remains resistant to the abrasive and corrosive nature of wet cement paste. For this reason, the rigid metal frame is designed for maximum stability on your laboratory benchtop. In addition, the easy-to-adjust locking indicator allows for rapid height setup, simplifying the testing workflow for laboratory staff. Consequently, this efficiency allows for a higher volume of sample throughput, which is essential for busy quality control facilities.

Trusting Your Vicat Set Apparatus

In conclusion, choosing Cantrol ensures that your facility uses the most durable Vicat Set Apparatus on the market today. Indeed, our focus on premium-grade metal, standardized needle and plunger components, and precision engineering provides a robust and reliable solution for modern material characterization. Ultimately, we provide a professional and cost-effective product for any laboratory dedicated to high-accuracy cement setting analysis using a Vicat Set Apparatus.

Model

2215020

Description

Vicat Set Apparatus

Material

Cast Aluminum Body

Dimension

140x190x290 mm

Weight

2.5 kg

Product Features

Full Standard Compliance: The Vicat Set Apparatus is engineered in full accordance with ASTM C191, EN 196-3, and EN 480-2 testing specifications.

Cast Aluminum Body: Built with a robust metal frame measuring 140x190x290 mm to provide long-term stability and superior durability at a manageable weight of 2.5 kg.

Standardized Weight Assemblies: Features a precision-engineered plunger assembly weighted at approximately 300 g for consistent penetration testing.

Versatile Needle Kit: Equipped with standard Vicat needles ranging from 1 mm to 2 mm to fulfill exact initial and final setting time test requirements.

Frictionless Sliding Rod: Designed with a smooth-sliding mechanism combined with a graduated scale to enable highly accurate depth measurements.

Reproducible QC Results: Guarantees reproducible penetration testing according to international requirements for evaluating cementitious material hydration behavior.

Accurate Testing with the Vicat Set Apparatus At Cantrol, we manufacture the Vicat Set Apparatus to provide an exceptionally accurate solution for laboratories that demand repeatability and full compliance with international standards.
