It is suitable for evaluating the in-place strength of both undisturbed soils and compacted materials.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The instrument can also be used to estimate the <strong>Raz\u00f3n de carga de California (CBR)<\/strong>, <strong>soil shear strength<\/strong>, and <strong>layer thickness<\/strong> of the tested material, making it a valuable tool for geotechnical investigations and quality control.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>H-4220F Foundation DCP<\/strong> is ideal for horizontal construction applications, including <strong>shallow foundations<\/strong>, <strong>roadways<\/strong>, and <strong>pavement shoulders<\/strong>. In its standard configuration, it is capable of evaluating material properties to a depth of <strong>36 in (914 mm)<\/strong> below the ground surface.
