The Cantrol Inc. Laboratory Jaw Crusher is a high-performance machine designed for reliable pre-crushing of coarse materials in laboratory and pilot-scale applications. Featuring a 4 × 5½ in (100 × 140 mm) feed opening, the Cantrol Jaw Crusher efficiently reduces feed sizes up to 2½ in (65 mm) into fine output between 0.04 – 0.20 in (1 – 5 mm) at rates up to 130 lb (300 kg) per hour. Its precision engineering ensures excellent performance across materials of different hardness — from hard quartz and basalt to soft claystone and limestone.

The unit includes 55 HRC hardened steel–chrome alloy jaws for superior durability and wear resistance. Its heavy-duty design features a case-hardened alloy steel eccentric shaft mounted in sealed needle bearings for long service life and smooth operation. A powerful 3 kW motor, equipped with overload protection and on/off switches, drives the crusher via a durable belt system mounted on a reinforced steel base.

Both fixed and movable jaws, along with tempered-steel lateral support walls, ensure uniform crushing and minimal sample contamination.
