The Semi-Automatic Bitumen Penetration Test Apparatus is designed for precise evaluation of the penetration characteristics of bituminous materials under controlled load, time, and temperature conditions. This advanced system features a durable cast-iron base equipped with coarse and fine leveling screws, a penetration timer unit, and a high-accuracy digital or dial gauge with 0.01 mm readability for reliable measurement results.
To begin the standard 5-second penetration test, the operator simply presses the start button on the digital timer controller, allowing the needle to be automatically released onto the bitumen sample. Each Semi-Automatic Bitumen Penetration Test Apparatus is supplied complete with a standard 2.5 g penetration needle, a sample holder, and three stainless-steel containers (Ø 55 × 35 mm) for efficient and consistent testing.
